Location of the conference

panoramic view of the Ötz Valley glaciers

IEEE/IFIP WONS 2014 will be held at a height of 1940 meters above sea level in the heart of Austria's Ötz Valley glaciers. Our venue is the Obergurgl University Center, home of the University of Innsbruck Alpine Research Center, and 5 meters away from the ski slopes.

If alpine skiing is not for you, you can also go snowshoe hiking (advance reservation is needed), bathe in the thermal springs in Längenfeld a short taxi ride away, go ice skating at the ice-skating rink in Obergurgl at the Hotel Enzian, or go cross country skiing (or winter hiking) along 10 km of groomed tracks.
